System of Indicators of Urban Development and Territorial Well-being for Cities 2050 is the first digital tool that allows us to compare indicators, identify gaps, and monitor the state of progress of cities at the national level
It is a long-term strategy that aims to develop integrated, equitable, sustainable and resilient cities for the next 30 years. The program contemplates the creation of a platform for the «System of Indicators of Urban Development and Territorial Well-being for Cities 2050», which seeks to monitor the goals and progress of cities through a method of indicators of urban standards to build a «City Plan».
The Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning is in charge of the Executive Secretariat, with the technical support of the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) and the National Council for Urban Development (Consejo Nacional de Desarrollo Urbano, CNDU).
